A delegation of about 20 people from Romrod visited us from 17 to 21 October 2024. We have prepared for them visits to our territories and cultural places.

Happy to find, for sure, friends of long dates, all had the pleasure of a welcome pot at the house of Associations de La Coquille.
18 October 2024
After a night of rest in the families, departure to Limoges and visit the Museum of Porcelain: the National Museum Adrien Dubouché.
On the return, a stage is made at the Collège Pierre Desproges in Chalus or a German teacher welcomed us to share some moments with our young visitors.
We were then received at the Ehpad Henri Frugier de La Coquille. Its Director Karl Koukoui introduced us to the establishment and invited us to share the taste of the residents.

The next Saturday, discover the territory with the host families. Many of them visited the market of Thiviers in the morning and afternoon the Caves of Villars or the International Center of Parietal Art of LASCAUX, riches of our country.
In the evening, a gala evening was waiting for our visitors and organizers. This exceptional evening was held in the magnificent Salle de La Pépte in Jumilhac the Great.
The Committee team did not count on its efforts to offer a nice evening to our friends in Romrod.
The Mayors of communes who make up the Joint Committee had almost all responded to the invitation launched by Bernard Vauriac, the Chairman of the Joint Committee.

On this occasion, many speeches have all emphasized the importance of friendship among peoples. This friendship was strengthened by the exchange of gifts between the Twinning Committees.

Good times always end and this Monday, it was time to take the bus back to Romrod. Moments moving because after four days together, the bonds of friendship are strong!
