The twinning association
La Coquille & Saint Jory de Chalais – Miallet – Firbeix – Saint Pierre de Frugie – Saint Priest les Fougères – Jumilhac le Grand – Chalais and Saint Paul La Roche
was established in 1990. It brings together individuals from these participating municipalities and develops exchanges with the twin city of Romrod in Germany. In particular, it aims to provide technical and financial support for cultural, sports or academic/academic exchanges and to facilitate and organise meetings, visits or stays of foreign delegations.
The cities of the association are part of the Community of Communes Périgord Limousin located in the north-east of the Dordogne
and are located in the perimeter of the Périgord Limousin Regional Natural Park.
